ANNAPOLIS, MD - Despite the rain squalls, steep waves, and 30mph winds from the South, Old Dominion Sailing placed tenth with 320 points at the Navy Fall Women's Intersectional this weekend.

Maureen Castruccio (Pleasanton, CA) and Elyssa Albert (Purcellville, VA) paired up to take ninth place in A division with 99 points. Alissa Ayers (Trenton, NJ) teamed up with Jaclyn Finney (Hampton, VA) and Brittany Bowen (Eldersburg, MD) to place tenth in B division with 132 points. Racing C division, ODU's Cara DiSanti (Seacliff, NY) grabbed seventh place with 89 points.

Yale took first place at the event with 172 points.

The Sailing Monarchs travel to New Haven, CT. next weekend to compete in the Yale Women's Intersectional.
