MYRTLE BEACH, SC-- Sophomore Meghan Schaefer (Union, KY) shot a final round 78 Sunday to lead the Old Dominion University Women's golf team at the 2005 Unlimited Potential/Baytree Classic in Myrtle Beach. Freshman Alexis Garduno (Sacramento, CA) was the low scorer for ODU in the tourney, finishing in a tie for 53rd place.
Middle Tennessee State won the event after shooting 901 as a team, finishing seven strokes better than runner-ups Coastal Carolina and Cincinnati. Angie Hill of Charleston won individual medalist honors after shooting a three day total of 218.
