AUSTIN, TX--The Old Dominion women's sailing finished fourth with194 points after 14 races at the ICSA (Intercollegiate Sailing Association) North American National Championships held at the Austin Yacht Club on Lake Travis. Harvard captured the title with 160. ODU's A Division boat of Anna Tunnicliffe(Perrysburg, OH.) and Emily Bartlett (Annapolis,MD.) won that Division with 72 points, eight points ahead of Harvard's Genny Tulloch and Emily Simon.
Tunnicliffe and Bartlett finished racing with two firsts, four seconds and three thirdsIn 14 races.
The B Division boat sailed by Jennifer Adams(, Maureen Castruccio (Pleasanton, CA.), and Cara Disanti(Seacliff, NY.) combined for 122 points and eighth place. They completed competition with one first, two seconds and a fourth in 14 races. Stanford's Caroline Young and Rene Levin won B Division with 70 points. ODU returns to action on June 8th when they compete for the Co-Ed Dinghy National Championship in Austin.
