PETERSBURG, VA-- The Old Dominion-Virginia Commonwealth CAA baseballgame scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to rain. The twoteams will play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 2 p.m. at thePetersburg Sports Complex.
ODU is scheduled to throw Kyle Dubois (Virginia Beach, VA.)andDana Arrowood (Woodbridge, VA.). Senior outfielder Evan Chipman(Raleigh, NC.) is second in the CAA with five triples and ranks third in the league with 20 stolen bases.
Bryan Cipolla still(Plainview, NY.) leads the CAA with 59 runs batted in, but Chris Looze of George Mason and Casper Wells of Towson are now only two behind him with 57.
Dubois ranks fourth in the CAA with a 3.48 earned run average and has59 strikeouts. Dana Arrowood is fifth in the CAA with a 3.60 ERA. Sophomore Hunter Hall (Virginia Beach, VA.) is eighth in the CAA witha 4.11 ERA.
