NEW YORK, NY-- Rising sophomore Bailey Mosier (Las Vegas, NV.) is oneof 10 ethnic minority students who will be awarded a scholarship from theLaGrant Foundation on Monday, June 13, in New York, City.
Mosier, a communications major, was one of ten students selected from anationwide pool of more than 100 applicants, all pursuing careers in advertising, marketing and public relations.
Scholarship recipients will participate in the annual recognition program, take part in career development workshops and have the opportunity to meet some of the nation's top executives.
The LaGrant Foundation's mission is to increase the number of ethnicminorities in the fields of advertising, marketing and public relationsby providing scholarships, career development workshops, enrichmentprograms, professional development, mentors and internships toAfrican Americans, American Indians/Native Americans, Asian PacificAmericans and Hispanics/Latinos.
