NORFOLK, VA-- The ODU Baseball Monarchs (16-16/0-3) travel toWilliamsburg, VA. to take on the Tribe of William and Mary (14-12/1-5)tonight in the first game of a three-game CAA series.
Game time is 7.p.m.at Plumeri Park.
Thus far this season, sophomore firstbaseman Bryan Cipolla leads theCAA with 43 base hits, 13 doubles and 45 runs batted in. Three Monarch pitchersare in the CAA's top five in strikeouts. They are Bryan Hansan (40),Kyle Dubois (40) and James Burok (37). Senior Evan Chipman leads theleague with 14 stolen bases.
W&M is led by CAA Player of the Year and All-American outfielder, ChrisRahl with 31 runs batted in. He is second in the league with sevenhome runs.
Forrest Cory is scheduled to start for the Tribe tonight, while ODUhead coach Jerry Meyers will have Dana Arrowood on the mound. BryanHanson is scheduled to pitch on Saturday for ODU.
