NORFOLK, VA. - Will Venable and Ryan Eldridge knocked in 13 runs betweenthem to lead the Tigers of Princeton (2-9) to an 18-1 victory over Old Dominion (14-12) Sunday Afternoon. Bryan Cipolla(Plaineview, NY.) and Steven Harris (Va.Beach, VA.) led ODU with two hits each.

Venable, son of former major leaguer Max Venable knocked in seven runs on four hits which included a three run homer in the sixth, a run scoring double in theseventh and a three run homer in the eighth. Eldridge hit back-to-back three runhomers in the seventh and eighth innings. Princeton pounded out 22 hits on the day.

Princeton starter Erik Stiller fanned five and scattered six hits with no walksto pick up his first win of the season.

ODU scored in the first inning as Tyler Belcher's (Bristol, VA.) sacrifice fly scored Evan Chipman. ODU hosts ACC power Clemson Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 7 p.m.
