LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The Lady Monarch doubles team of Kerstin Endlich and Fernanda Luiz fell in the second round of the prequalifying bracket at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships.
The Lady Monarch duo dropped an 8-1 decision to Dikes and Dulgheru of Pepperdine.
The Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships include 128-singles player and 64-doubles team prequalifying tournaments played October 2-4 at UCLA. These feed into 64-player and 32-doubles team qualifying tournaments October 5-6. The 32-player, 16-doubles team main draw takes place Oct. 7-10. Over 60 schools from across the country have sent players to compete. The Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships is the first of three national collegiate tennis championships this season.
