KITTY HAWK, NC-- Virginia Commonwealth shot a 286 today to capturethe 25th annual ODU/Seascape Collegiate for the second straight year. VCU finishedthe 36-hole tournament at 589, four strokes better than Campbell (593) and six aheadof ODU (595). All five of VCU's players finished in the top 26, with Jens Fahrbringleading with an 11th place finish at 147.
Drexel's Patrick Hardin won the individual title with a 142. He shot a 70 todayto win by two strokes over Steve Alminas (Winthrop), Brian Carroll (GW), JimmyLytle(Elon) and Scott Manno (JMU) all at 144.
Gregory Sampson (Warren, RI.) led ODU golfers with a sixth place finish at 145, three strokes off the lead. Nick Kenney (Toronto, Ontario) was 17th at 149 and Adam Condello (Fairport, NY.) was 22nd at 150.
