WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Gregory Sampson (Warren, RI) shot a 72 on the 6,769 yard, par 71 Kingsmill Resort-River Course Tuesday to lead the Old Dominion University men's golf team to a third place finish at the WM/Kingsmill Invite, with a final score of 602. Sampson, who finished second overall, shot a 70 on Monday for a combined score of 142. Georgetown was the overall winner with a score of 589. First-round leader, Richmond, finished second after shooting 592.
Christopher Kline (Hampton, VA) tied for 32nd overall with a score of 153 (80-73) and Leighton Harris (Durban, South Africa) shot a 156 (77-79) to tie for 46th, while Adam Condello (Fairport, NY) and Robert Fournier (East Greenwich, RI) both tied for 73rd overall with a final score of 160.
