COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland women's tennis team defeated the Old Dominion Monarchs, 6-1, at the Tennis Center at College Park,as the No. 75-ranked Terps (1-4, 0-0) took all but one of the singles matches. The Lady Monarchs playing against its third straight ranked opponent fell to 3-3 on the year.
The Monarchs prevented a shut-out with sophomore Coralie Herrmann defeating Terp sophomore Andreea Fusea, 6-3, 6-2, at No. 5 singles.
