Old Dominion Head Coach Wendy Larry
"When we defend, rebound and run, we're a really good team. We did a better job doing those things in the second half. We did a better job on the defensive end in the second half."
On Monique Coker:
"Having a player like Monique (Coker) will put you over the edge. When you can hit 10 shots from the line, it's going to be huge. It was her goal this season to get to the free-throw line more."
On VCU guard Cyndy Wilks and forward Lauren Hogan:
"Cyndy Wilks has been scoring a lot of points on us this season, but I honestly think that Lauren Hogan is one of the most improved players. She works very hard at both ends of the court. I see a great deal of improvement in her."
On clinching the CAA:
"It was what we were looking for short term, but we have more we want to accomplish. Being first seed in the (CAA) tournament is not a great advantage. We will still face three very tough teams who are on a roll. It's going to be tough."
Old Dominion Senior Forward Monique Coker
"I had to focus, go up strong and attack the basket. I had to use my quickness against the big girls today."
Old Dominion Senior guard Max Nhassengo
"I was at the right place at the right time today. I'm happy, right now, that my shots are going in."
VCU Guard Cyndy Wilks:
"Our team really, really wanted it today. We just couldn't get it done out there."
