Georgia Tech Head Coach MaChelle Joseph
"We struggled scoring and I compliment their defense."
"One thing I looked at before we got here was how we were winning. We were winning because we took care of the ball. We've been averaging 13 turnovers a game and today, we had 22 turnovers."
On Senior Guard, Alex Stewart:
"Alex is our "go to" person and is definitely our leader, our heart and soul. Some days are good, some days are bad, and today was one of the bad for her. Everyone has them."
On Senior Guard, Fallon Stokes:
"Fallon definitely is a premier player. We look to her and she's consistent."
On Old Dominion's Senior Forward, Monique Coker:
"We geared our defense to stop her but she's strong. She persuaded the ball and we couldn't stop her. She would get really good, tough rebounds and have the ability to put them back up."
On Old Dominion's Junior Guard, Shareese Grant:
"She made big plays. She put the ball in the whole, stayed poised, and made some really key shots."
Senior Guard, Alex Stewart
"It was frustrating (foul situation). My coaches, teammates, and I knew that I could continue to play. We're a very physical team and Old Dominion was a better team today."
Old Dominion University Head Coach Wendy Larry
"I would like to think that the previous competition we have been up against has prepared us. We have played and beat some really good team. This is a great victory and we can go have a great break."
On Junior Guard, Shareese Grant:
"She is giving it up for the team. Her defense was the key and she was outstanding on both sides of the court. She stepped up and I'm very proud of her."
On Georgia Tech's Senior Guard, Alex Stewart:
"She's been a mainstay for them. She's a great creator and finds the scorers for Tech. Even with the amount of time she played, she got six assists."
Junior Guard, Shareese Grant
"As much as I want to win, I never think about or get tired."
On Career High - 26 points
"I was trying to attack, help my team win. I wasn't thinking about the points."
"We have to play hard every game in every gym. We are going to be working out over the break."
Senior Guard, Max Nhassengo
"I been building my confidence and I am not scared anymore."
Sophomore Center, Corrina Turner
On leaving her team for surgery and rehad in Miami for the spring semester:
"It will be hard to leave but not to keep moving. I am doing it for the team not for myself and I will be keeping in contact with all of them, especially my roommates: Shareese (Grant), Monique (Coker), and Myriah (Spence). I will be back for the CAA tournament in March."
