BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Natasha Brackett had 19 points and Mandisa Stevenson14 points and 13 rebounds to lead No. 22 Auburn to an 84-49 victory Saturdaynight over Old Dominion in the consolation game of the WBCA Classic.
Louise Emeagi added 11 points, and Taneshia Thompson and Marita Payne had 10each for Auburn (1-1).
Shareese Grant led Old Dominion (0-2) with 16 points. The Monarchs shot 30percent and had 22 turnovers for the game.
Old Dominion missed its first seven shots and hit a dismal 21 percent in thefirst half. Auburn capitalized with a 17-5 run, building a 27-10 lead.
The Tigers closed the half with 13-0 run, including six points fromBrackett, and led 50-16 at the break.
Old Dominion was more competitive in the second half, with Monique Cokerscoring six points in a 21-8 surge that closed Auburn's lead to 58-37. ButBrackett hit a 3-pointer and scored five points as Auburn responded with a 12-0run.
