CLEMSON, SC. -- The 18th ranked Clemson Tigers pounded out 15 hits to defeat theMonarchs, 18-2 and sweep the three game series. Clemson improves to 8-3 overallwhile ODU drops to 5-8.
The Tigers scored in every inning except the first to secure the victory. KyleFrank wend 3-3 with four RBI and three runs scored. Sophomore righthander JeffHahn picked up his second win of the season.
The Monarchs got on the board in the top of the sixth as John Oehler singled homeJoe Moore. In the ninth Steven Harris ground out plated Brent Sollenberger withODU's second run.
The Monarchs travel to Charlotte for two games on Tuesday and Wendesday at 1 p.m.
