James Madison(48) at Old Dominion (58)Women's BasketballPost-Game Quotes:

Wendy Larry, Old Dominion Head Coach:

"Sometimes you learn interesting lessons from your male counterparts. Last night we learned that the free throw line is one of those lessons. Thank goodness down the stretch we were able to take control. Typically teams have highlighted ODU before. I guess after 10 years there is some history involved in all of this and I would like to think we had a hand in lifting the bar within the conference.

On free throws: "They were huge at a very important time. Us hitting the free throws and them missing the free throws was the main thing tonight."

Monique Coker, ODU Junior Forward

"We have been focusing on them (free throws) real hard during practice. We had to concentrate on throwing them down during the game."

Shareese Grant, Sophomore Guard

"I was thinking that we couldn't let them beat us like before. I was there last time watching from the bench and I just kept thinking about going out there to play."

Kenny Brooks, JMU Head Coach

"This is everything they told me it was. It is a great rivalry. They definitely play well within themselves with great fans and a great arena."

On free throws: "It was big tonight. They changed the complexion of the game. In order for us to beat a team like ODU we have to be on the ball."

"Every timeout I was telling them we are going to win this game, but in order to win you have to be there down the stretch."

Jess Cichowicz, Guard

"We have never been intimidated even when we play a great team. Both teams went out trying to play hard and I think we played too hard at first, but we calmed down in the second half. ODU is the team to beat in the CAA and you never give up."
