NORFOLK, VA. -- Senior guard Okiesha Howard (Va. Beach, Va.) scored 22points, dished out eight assists and came up with three steals to lead the Blue squad to a53-41 victory over the White squad in the annual Lady Monarch scrimmage in the Ted Constant Convocation Center. Freshman LawonaDavis (Port St. Lucie, FL.) led the white squad with 17 points, five steals and six rebounds.
Redshirt freshman center Corrina Turner (Miami, FL.) hauled in seven rebounds and scored six points for the white squad, while Monique Coker (Bronx, NY.) scored nine points, hauled in down seven rebounds and handed out five assists for the Blue team.
The Lady Monarchs return to action on Wednesday night when they host TeamConcept in an exhibition game at 7 p.m.in the Ted Constant Convocation Center.
