Brian Kluckman (Springfield, VA) scored his first career goal midway though the second half to lead the Old Dominion men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Delaware in a Colonial Athletic Association men's soccer game Friday night at Delaware Mini-Stadium.

Ben Cummins (Queensland, Australia) blistered a shot from 25-yards out that ricocheted off the crossbar and into the front of the net, where Kluckman one-timed the rebound for the game-winning tally at 62:23.

The win improves the Monarch's record to 6-4-0/3-0-0 on the year and they have lost only one conference game in the last 14 chances (10-1-3), dating back to the 2000 season.

Samuel Cameron (Raleigh, NC) made four saves en route to his second shutout for Old Dominion as the Monarchs outshot the Blue Hens 16-6.

The Monarchs continue the weekend road trip with another CAA game on Sunday against Towson.
