HARRISONBURG, VA. - Senior Lucienne Berthieu (Rennes, France)scored a career high 32 points and hauled in 13 rebounds to lead 25th ranked OldDominion to a 68-51 CAA victory over James Madison Sunday afternoon. ODU isnow 13-5 overall and 10-0 in the CAA, while the Dukes drop to 13-5 overall and7-2 in the CAA. ODU has now won 129 of their last 10 CAA games.

JMU, who ended ODU's 113 -CAA game winning streak last year in Harrisonburg took a 4-0, but Hamchetou Maiga's basket with 16:11 left put ODUup 5-4 and the Lady Monarchs were on their way to another league win. With abouteight minutes left in the first half, ODU led 22-6 and coasted to a 33-18 halftimelead.

Berthieu had 15 points and five rebounds at halftime as the Lady Monarchsshot .500 (14-28) from the field, while JMU was at .290 (7-24). For the game, ODUshot .538 (28-52) from the field, while JMU was .333 (17-51).

Sophomore forward Monique Coker (Bronx, NY.) Added 17 points forOld Dominion, hitting seven-of -nine shots from the field in her third start of theyear. Berthieu was 13-21 from the floor. Sharron Francis (W.Lanham Hills, Md.)dished out eight assists, and hit her only two shots from the floor after JMU hadcut the Lady Monarchs lead to eight, 56-48 with 5:05 left in the game.

Francis' two baskets put the lead back up to 12, then Berthieu hit two moreshots and a free throw to put the game out of reach.

The Dukes were led by Shanna Price with 15 points and Nadine Morgan with12 points and six rebounds.

Old Dominion returns to action on Friday night at Rutgers for a 7:30 p.m.contest.
