FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) - Lucienne Berthieu had 19 points and eight reboundsSunday to lead No. 25 Old Dominion to a 71-51 victory over George Mason.

Sharron Francis added 13 points and Hamchetou Maiga 12 as the Lady Monarchs(9-5, 6-0 Colonial Athletic Association) won their 27th in a row over the LadyPatriots (9-7, 3-2). Shareese Grant had 10 rebounds and eight points as OldDominion outrebounded George Mason 55-37.

Freshman forward Laura Kooij had 21 points and five rebounds to lead GeorgeMason. Kooij followed her 3-pointer with a steal and layup to pull the LadyPatriots to 40-35 with 12:45 remaining.

Kooij hit her fourth 3-pointer and Khalilah Smith followed with a jumper topull George Mason to 48-42 with 7:30 left, but that was close as the LadyPatriots got down the stretch.

Maiga scored eight of Old Dominion's final 18 points as the Lady Monarchsremained unbeaten in CAA play.

George Mason ended the first half with a 9-0 run, capped by ShelbylynnMcBride's buzzer-beater that pulled the Lady Patriots to 31-26 at halftime. TheLady Monarchs, who bolted to a 12-2 lead in the opening five minutes, shot only30 percent in the first half.
