Obie Gravely's goal with 8:48 left in the fourth overtime period ended 141-plus minutesof soccer as the Rams of Virginia Commonwealth defeated the Monarchs, 1-0 in the ColonialAthletic Association semi-finals, 1-0. The Monarchs are 8-7-2.
Old Dominion outshot the Rams, 25-24, but neither could score until Gravely netted thewinner. Adam Meade came up with the shutout and 11 saves for the Rams. Chad Calderone(Rockville Center, NY.) had three saves for the Monarchs.
