NORFOLK, VA. - The first day of racing in the ICSA/Vanguard North America Collegiate Sailing Singlehanded National Championships at Old Dominion University was postponed today because of no wind on the Elizabeth River. Competition will resume Saturday morning at the Old Dominion University sailing center, at 9:45 a.m.
The men's and women's championships consist of 16 men and 16 women.Defending national champion Margaret Gill (Weston, MA.) returns from Harvard,on the women's side. Host Old Dominion will have Sally Barkow (Nashotah, WI.) And Corrie Clement (Metarie, LA.).
