Annapolis, MD-The Old Dominion sailing team took eighth place out of 16 teams at the Atlantic Coast Championships in Annapolis, MD today. Harvard won the event, followed by the College of Charleston and Tufts.
The A division boat of Matt Allen (Beverly, MA) and Anna Cobb (Mechanicsville, VA) were fifth, and the B division squad of Jack Kerr (Seattle, WA), Liz Bower (Fairport, NY) and Ryan Thorvaldsen (Sayville, NY) were 13th.
Old Dominion will host the ICSA Men's & Women's Singlehanded National Championships this weekend, November 16-18. Monarch sailors Brad Funk (Harbor Bluffs, FL), Corrie Clement (Metarie, LA) and Sally Barkow (Nashotah, WI) will be competing in the event.
