The Monarchs two runs came on solo homers by sophomore catcher JohnOehler(Audubon, NJ.) in the fifth and Jeff Eure (Pillow, PA.) in the sixth.Freshman Matt Moye(Beaver Falls, PA.) had two hits on the night for the Monarchs.
VCU was led by Cory Bauswell who knocked in two runs and slammed hisfifth homerun of the year. and Bryan Gillespie who had two hits and a solo homer.Martin walked onlyone and fanned seven.
