Greene, McCullum and Jones Earn CAA Honors

RICHMOND, VA. (March 2, 2001) -- Pierre Greene (Chicago, ILL.) andAndre McCullum (Whiteville, NC.) along with CliftonJones (Pleasantville, NJ.) earned honors from theColonial Athletic Association at Friday nights awardsbanquet.

Greene and McCullum were selected to the secondteam All-CAA squad and Jones was named to the league'sAll-Defensive team.

Greene averaged 12.0 points per game and 3.6assists per game. He ranks sixth in the league in freethrow percentage at .759, fifth in assists and eighthin steals.

McCullum picks up this award for the second straightyear. McCullum is averaging 12.5 points per game, and isseventh in free throw percentage at .746. He has performedfive double-doubles this year and comes into this weekendsCAA tournament with 1096 career points and 547 careerrebounds.

Jones, the CAA rebound leader at 9.5 hauled in 23rebounds last week against UNC Wilmington which is the highest reboundperformance this year in NCAA Div. I.

Jones performed six double-doubles this year. He not onlyleads the CAA in rebounding, the 6-7 senior ranks secondin the league in blocked shots at 1.6.
