Three other Monarchs scored in double figures. SophomoreRasheed Wright(Greensboro, NC.) had 14 points, Michael Williams (Thomasville, GA.) 11 andfreshmanTroy Nance (Va. Beach, Va.) added 10 with eight assists and five steals.Freshman centerCharles Dunnington (Washington, DC.) hauled in 12 rebounds and seniorClifton Jonesgrabbed seven boards and blocked four shots.
The Monarchs shot .405 (30-74) from the floor, while Global shot.418 (28-67). Reboundswere even at 49 each.
The traveling visitors were led by Jimmie Hunter with 21points and Kevin Norris with 16 points. They play at New Orleans on Monday and Alabama on Nov. 8.
