NORFOLK, VA (March 29, 2000) -- 19th-ranked Old Dominion University edged Maryland-Baltimore County, 13-12, Wednesday afternoon at Foreman Field on the campus of Old Dominion University. With the loss, the Lady Monarchs improve to 4-5 overall (2-1 CAA) and extend their win streak to two games. The Retrievers stand at 2-4 overall/0-0 NEC.
Sophomore Jennifer Heister (Fayetteville, NY) led the way for Old Dominion with four goals on the afternoon. Six different Old Dominion players broke into the scoring column with Jenna Bajus (Annapolis, Md.), Marlaine Smith (Gaithersburg, Md.), Danielle Hensil (Havertown, Pa.), and Dana Wisniewski (Collegeville, Pa.) all chipping in with a pair of goals apiece.
