#19 Lady Monarchs Lacrosse Edged By #3 James Madison, 12-7

NORFOLK, VA (March 22) - #19 Old Dominion University fell to #3 James Madison, 12-7 on March 22 at Foreman Field on the campus of Old Dominion University. With the loss, the Lady Monarchs fall to 2-4 overall (1-1 CAA). The Dukes stand at a perfect 5-0 overall/2-0 CAA.

Senior Pam Seebald (Brightwaters, NY) led the way for Old Dominion with a pair of goals and an assist while sophomore Jennifer Heister (Fayetteville, NY) added a pair of goals as well.

The Lady Monarchs found themselves down 9-3 at the intermission, clawing back in the second half to cut the lead to 9-5 at one point. The Dukes held on for victory.

Old Dominion will take to the road this weekend for a pair of games in the greater DC area (at Maryland Saturday and at American Sunday).
