FAIRFAX, VA. (Feb. 25) - The Old Dominion men's swimming team led bythe 200 medley relay squad lead the CAA championships after26 events, six points ahead of James Madison. ODU has 391,and the Dukes are in second with 385.50.
The Monarchs 200 medley relay team of Greg Cardillo (Providence, RI.),Mike Coley(Niskayuna,NY.), Matt Morrisette (Va.Beach, Va.), and John Sax (Memphis, Tn.)set a CAA record (1:32.34).
The Monarchs 800 freestyle relay of Jimmy Sullivan (W.Palm Beach, Fla.), MikeCoey (Niskayuna,NY), John Wall (Hoover, AL.) and Mark Guisto (Va. Beach, Va.)won with a time of6:48.35.
The final day of CAA Swimming and Diving at the George MasonUniversity Aquatic and Fitness Center is Saturday, Feb. 26.The Finals begin at 6 p.m.
