NORFOLK, VA. (Jan. 16)(AP) -- Lucienne Berthieu had 19 points and 16 rebounds as No. 22 Old Dominion defeated James Madison 74-57 for the Lady Monarchs' 87th straight Colonial Athletic Association victory.
Old Dominion, which also got 22 points from Hamchetou Maiga, pulled ahead early and led by 12 points at halftime. The Dukes cut the margin to seven points with 4:25 left in the game, but the Lady Monarchs scored 14 of the next 18 points to seal the victory.
Old Dominion (11-3, 4-0 CAA) outrebounded the Dukes 50-36, with Maiga pulling down 12 rebounds. Alli Spence added 13 points for the Lady Monarchs.
Shanna Price scored a career-high 17 points to lead James Madison (9-7, 2-2). Mandy White added 11 points.
