KITTY HAWK, N.C. - (Oct. 26) Sophomore Michael Hospodar (Ontario, Canada)shot a 72 to finish at 144 and lead the Monarchs of Old Dominion Universityto a second place tie with UNC Wilmington at the 20th ODU/Seascape Collegiategolf tournament. Hospodar finished fourth overall. Elon won the teamchampionship witha two-day score of 578.
Todd Grassi of Elon won the individual title as he shot a 69 andfinished the tournament with a two-day score of 139, three strokes ahead ofChris McKeel of Virginia Tech. Monarch Freshman Stephen Richards (Bucks,England) was 12th andsophomore Steve Sokol (Oxford, CT.) finished 16th. It was the Monarchs finalfallevent.
