Angie Loy-Reisinger was a two-time NFHCA Field Hockey first team All-American. She completed her career with 77 career goals and 56 career assists. At the time, she was fourth all-time in ODU history with 210 career points. In the fall of 2003, Loy was named CAA Player of the Year, the Team MVP and the ODU Alumni Association's Female Athlete of the Year after scoring 24 goals, 21 assists and 69 total points.

Loy also was a starter for team USA and was an outstanding student athlete, earning national academic honors by the NFHCA three successive years. She now lives in her hometown of Loysville, PA. with husband Rob and daughter Sidney.

Angie was inducted into the ODU Sports Hall of Fame on OCt. 13, 2012....

2002 (Junior): STX/NFHCA First Team All-American... National Field Hockey Coaches Association Academic All-American honoree for the third straight season... All CAA First Team... First Team All Region... Led the team with 25 assists during her junior season...Tied teammate and Honda Award winner Tiffany Snow for team lead in points (75)... Second on team in scoring with 25...Won CAA Player of the Week honors in October... Averaged one assist per game to lead the nation...Tied for third in the country in points per game...Fifth among Division I players in goals per game...Scored lone goal in 1-0 upset over #1 Maryland...Registered a career-high 11 points with four goals and three assists at Towson...Also performed a hat trick against Maryland in the second round of the NCAA Tournament...Played for the Tidewater Tempest in the US Field Hockey Summer League...Invited to the 2003 USA Hockey A-camp...

2001 (Sophomore): Second Team All-South Region...First Team All-CAA...Earned her second Academic All-American award...Started all 23 games as a sophomore...Tallied 10 goals and seven assists in her second year with the squad...Was a starting member of her USFHA Summer League Team...

2000 (Freshman): Made a big splash her freshman year, earning CAA Rookie of the Year honors...Was also a second team All-CAA pick...Academic All-American award winner...Started 25 of a possible 26 games as a freshman...Scored 18 goals with 3 assists...

Prior to Old Dominion: Was an all-state and all-star performer in field hockey...Also played softball, basketball, and track...For her overall efforts, was named Female Athlete of the Year at West Perry High...An honor roll student...A member of the National Honor Society...

Personal: Born April 23, 1982...Daughter of Linda and Robert Loy...Has a brother Josh (25) and a sister Becky (23), a former Lady Monarch midfielder from 1998-2002...Majoring in health and physical education.
