Women's Lacrosse Ends Regular Season With JMU For Senior Day

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion Women's Lacrosse team will conclude its 2024 regular season on Saturday hosting 17th-ranked James Madison for Senior Day and a TowneBank Royal Rivalry matchup at noon at L.R. Hill Complex.
 
Prior to the game, 13 seniors will be recognized in a ceremony at 11:40 a.m. Following the game there will be an autograph session. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
Old Dominion (3-12, 0-5) comes into the contest after a tough 11-10 loss at East Carolina last Saturday. Emma Rowland tied her career high with four goals and Moira Olexa added three for the Monarchs.
 
On the year, Emma Arnold is tied for the team lead in points (36), and leads ODU in goals scored (28), in caused turnovers (25) and draw controls (53). Sydney Taylor leads in assists (12), is tied for the lead in points (36) and has the second most goals (24). Lilly Siskind is second in assists (10), and third in both points (52) and goals scored (23).
 
James Madison (11-4, 4-1) comes to Norfolk on the heels of a 17-8 win over Vanderbilt last Saturday. Senior attackers Katelyn Morgan and Isabella Peterson lead the Dukes' offense as Peterson leads in goals (56), points (64), shots (110) and shots on goal (81), while Morgan leads in assists (27).
