Women's Lacrosse Has Final 2024 Road Contest Saturday At East Carolina

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team is back in American Athletic Conference action on Saturday as they visit East Carolina for a 2 p.m. start at Johnson Stadium.
 
The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
ODU resumes play after an 18-5 loss on April 10 at Virginia Tech. Emma Rowland scored a career high four goals and Emma Arnold added the other in the loss to the Hokies. Brynn Bowen had a career best six saves in goal playing in relief of Jenna Peccia.
 
Arnold leads the Monarchs in goals (27), points (35), draw controls (43) and caused turnovers (22). Lilly Siskind is second in goals (23), assists (10), and tied for second in points (33). She is tied with Sydney Taylor in points, while Taylor is third in goals (22), leads in assists (11). Peccia leads in ground balls (38).
 
The last AAC game for the Monarchs was a 9-5 loss to Vanderbilt on April 6, as the Commodores defeated East Carolina in the Pirates last contest 14-13 on April 13. Regina Di Chiara and Emily Stratton had three goals each for the Pirates against Vanderbilt.
 
Frances Kimel leads ECU in points (54), assists (29) and second in goals scored (25). Erin Gulden leads in goals scored (28), second in assists (14), points (42).
 
East Carolina holds a 3-2 lead in the all-time series and scored a 7-5 win over the Monarchs on March 18, 2023 in Norfolk.
 
ODU will close out the season on April 27 hosting James Madison at noon at L.R. Hill Sports Complex for Senior Day.
