Download the ODU Sports APP

ODU Sports has a new mobile APP!  Get all the lastest ODU news, scores and promotions from the ODU Sports Mobile App.  Seemlessly log into your ticket account (My Account 2.0) to manage your tickets!  Access, download, transfer or resell with just a click few clicks of a button.  

For iPhone users who previously downloaded the ODU Sports App, your App should refresh to the new platform with the next update.  For new users, download the Apple App Store or Google Play

Full step-by-step instructions on how to access, transfer and resell your tickets are listed below as well as answers to frequently asked questions.

ACCESSING TICKETS

Access My Tickets

  1. Download and open the ODU Sports App on your mobile device. 
  2. Click "Tickets" in the menu on the bottom right hand corner. 
  3. Sign in to your ticket account using the email address associated with your ticket account. 
  4. Your tickets are listed under "My Upcoming Events". 
  5. Choose "Add to Wallet" or "Transfer to send to another attendee. 
  6. Click "Next" and "Done" to complete the process of adding your tickets to your mobile wallet.  Have your mobile ticket ready to scan at the gate.

Transfer My Tickets

  1. Log into your My Account through the ODU Sports App
  2. Select "Manage Tickets"
  3. Select the game and tickets you would like to transfer.
  4. Enter the first and last name and phone or email address of the recipient.
  5. Review transfer and select "Transfer Tickets" once ready.

Accept a Transfer

  1. The person receiving the transfer will receive a text message or email with a link to accept the transfer. 
  2. The recipient will be prompted to login and accept the tickets.  Please note, if the recipient does not already have an existing ODU ticket account, they will be required to create one.  The recipient must use the phone number or email the transfer was sent to for the tickets to appear in the account. 
  3. Once logged in, the recipient can accept or decline the transfer.  Once accepted, they will be prompted to add the tickets to their mobile wallet. 

To see if your recipient has accepted the transfer, you can review pending transfers from your online account under "Pending Transfers". 

SELL ON SEAT GEEK

Sell on SeatGeek

SeatGeek is the official ticket marketplace of ODU Atheltics. 

  1. Select "Sell on SeatGeek from the main menu. 
  2. Select the game(s) you wish to list on SeatGeek.  Sign in to your SeatGeek account or create one.  Finalize the settings on SeatGeek and click "List Ticket(s)".

How To Download Mobile Tickets from an Email

Tips & Tricks

Anytime you are adding tickets to your digital wallet from an email link or ODU Sports APP, it's recommended to do so from your mobile device. 

If you attempt to download tickets from a desktop or tablet, the device will not have access to do your digital wallet. 

You can transfer or resell your tickets from any device by logging into My Account. 

Game date or time changes will automatically be reflected on your digital ticket as long as your wallet notifications are turned on.  

For iPhone users: 

  1. Go to Settings 
  2. Go to Notifications 
  3. Scoll down to Wallet under the "Notfication Style" section. 
  4. Ensure "Allow Notifications" is turned on.

  1. Use the email address associated with your ticketing account.  If you use a different email address than what is associated ticketing account, your tickets will not be found.  
  2. Enter password.  If you forgot your password, you can "Sign in With a Code".  A code will be sent to the email address on file (and entered on the previous screen).  Enter passcode in prompt and sign in.

There will be 2 ways to access your tickets - via My Account 2.0 and the ODU Sports APP or downloading through a link from the delivery email.  

My Account 2.0

  1. Download the ODU Sports APP
  2. Select the "Tickets" at the bottom right hand corner of the home screen. 
  3. Select "My Account" 
  4. Sign in with the email address associated with your ticketing account and password.  If you have forgotten your password, you can "Sign In with Code" where the system will generate a code and send to your email address.  
  5. When tickest are available to dowload, they will appear under "My Upcoming Events".  Select the event and tickets and add to your digital wallet.  

Email Delivery 

  1. Upon delivery date, an email will be sent that will contain a link to access your tickets. 
    • Season ticket holders will receive a notification that tickets are on their way prior to receiving the link to download their tickets. 
    • Single game and mini plans will be delivered at the completion of the transaction. 
  2. Open the email on your smartphone and tap the link to access your tickets and add them to your Google Pay or Apple Wallet. 

*NOTE*: Please access your My Account 2.0 or email from a mobile device.  By opening from a desktop or tablet you won't have access to either the Google Pay or Apple Wallet apps.  

My Account 2.0 is the enhanced online mobile ticket manager for ODU Sports which can be accessed from the ODU Sports Mobile App or by clicking here.   This upgrade has enhanced the user experience and provide a more intuitive self-service feature.  Season ticket holders will be able to use their smartphone to view upcoming events, download tickets to their digital wallet, transfer tickets to multiple recipient via text message or email, and post tickets for resell through SeatGeek, the Official Ticket Marketplace of ODU Athletics. 

A smartphone is required to use mobile tickets.  If you do not own a smartphone, but someone you are attending the game with does, you can use that person's smartphone to access your tickets to enter the stadium.  If you do not own a smartphone, nor anyone else in your party, please contact the ODU Ticket Office at (757) 683-3375 to discuss alternative options.  

No, mobile tickets printed on paper cannot be scanned and therefore will not be accepted at the gate.  Mobile tickets on a smartphone are the only acceptable tickets at the gate. 

Please do not screenshot tickets and send to family or friends.  Log into my account and transfer tickest using SMS text or email.  

Tickets will not be viewable on your account until closer to the start of each season.  A formal announcement will be sent via email to season ticket holdesr with the exact date and time their tickets will be made available online.  Following the announcement, an email will also be generated with ticket links from the ODU Box Office. 

  • Football tickets are anticipated to be available between June & July. 
  • Basketball tickets are anticipated to be avaialble between August & September.  

Use your smartphone to log into My Accont 2.0 (season ticket account) or by clicking here.  Once logged in, you will find all of your active tickets for the season listed under "My Tickets". 

If arriving seperately, you can transfer a ticket to each member of your party.  This will allow you and your guests to arrive at your own convenience.  Via My Account 2.0, select the tickets you wish to transfer and enter their cell phone number or email address.  They will receive a text or email instructing them how to accept their tickets.  They will need to log into their ODU Ticketing account or create a new account to accept their tickets.  Once your guest(s) have accepted the transfer, they will be able to add the ticket to their mobile wallet.  

If you have transferred tickets already, you can view those transfers under "Pending Transfers" in My Account.  

Yes!  You can view all of your tickets by swiping left or right on your smartphone's digital wallet.  We highly encourage you to transfer a ticket to each member of your party to allow for the easiest entry and access throughout the venue.  

Before arriving at the game, download your tickets to your digital wallet.  Once tickets are downloaded, connectivitiy or Wi-Fi is not required to access the tickets in your wallet. 

Please head to the box office and one of our representatives can assist.  Please provide Name, email address on file or ticket account number with a valid ID to quickly identify your tickets.
