NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion University co-ed sailing team was ranked No. 7 in the latest Sailing World College Rankings.
The Monarchs received 289 total points and ranked closely behind No. 6 Boston College. Georgetown pulled in the No. 1 ranking, getting 17 first place votes while Yale was ranked No. 2 and pulled in six first place votes. Dartmouth was ranked No. 3 while Stanford and College of Charleston ranked close behind.
ODU will participate in a trio of events this weekend. The Monarchs will compete at the Bob Bavier Team Race in Charleston, S.C, the McIntyre Team Race and the ODU Open in Norfolk.
