COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Sophomore Harel Srugo's (Kibutz Gazit, Israel) run at the ITA National Collegiate Indoor Tournament came to an end on Saturday as he fell 6-1, 6-3 to top ranked and defending champion, Ben Kohlloeffel of UCLA.
Senior Henrique Cancado (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) meanwhile went 1-1 in the consolation bracket. In the first round, Cancado upset No. 36 Alex Skrypko of Southern Methodist in three sets. After dropping a close first set, 6-7 (5), Cancado rallied to win the next two sets, 6-3, 6-4. In the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket, Cancado fell to No. 7 Arnau Brugues of Tulsa, 6-1, 6-3.
