2019: All-Conference USA Second Team... United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I All-South Region Team… VaSID All-State Women's Soccer Second Team… The two-time team captain helped the program get off to its best start since 2006, as the Monarchs completed non-conference play undefeated... Not only started every game for the Monarchs, but the midfielder logged the third most minutes on the team... Her three goals (off 11 shots on frame), as well as three assists ranked fourth on the team... Tapper's nine points was the third most on the team, while her six points in C-USA play was tied for first on the team.
2018: Named to the Conference USA Honor Roll for maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better… Appeared in all 19 matches… Dished out an assist in consecutive games at UTSA and at UTEP... Team Captain.
2017: Appeared in 17 matches, making 15 starts… Tallied four points off two goals for the season… Her goal against Charlotte in the regular season finale was the game-winner for the Monarchs… Named to the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll for her work in the classroom.
2016: Appeared in 16 matches, making seven starts during freshman campaign… Named to Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll for maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or better throughout the academic year.
Club Soccer: Talia played club soccer for Beach FC where she was a State Cup Finalist in 2014 and 2015.
High School: Attended Kellam High School... First Team All-Conference, All-Region, All-Tidewater, All-State and All-Atlantic Region Conference Co-Player of the Year.
