Oliver Nolan Season 2021-22

2021-22: Finished tied for second on the team in singles wins with 15…He was 10-8 in dual matches to tie for second most wins…Teamed with Younes Lalami in the spring going 11-7 at doubles where they won Second Team All-Conference honors.

2020 (Junior at UNC Asheville): Went 6-4 in singles competition during the season shortened due to COVID-19 … Posted a 5-1 record playing at the No. 2 draw … Went 4-6 in doubles action at the No. 1 draw … Picked up two wins apiece with Charlie Morkel and Harry Thursfield.
 
2019 (Sophomore at UNC Asheville): Earned NCAA Division I All-American honors in doubles from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association ... Nolan and Henry Patten secured a national championship victory at the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships …  Nolan and Patten were ranked number one nationally for three consecutive polls by the Oracle Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings before dropping to No. 2 for much of the spring season … Participated in the NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Doubles Championships as a No. 4 seed … The duo ended the regular season ranked No. 4 nationally in the Oracle ITA rankings … Nolan and Patten were named Big South First-Team All-Conference in doubles … Nolan was named Big South Second-Team All-Conference in singles … Named Big South Player of the Week on Feb. 27 … Was 18-2 in doubles on the season … Had 11 singles wins.
 
2018 (Freshman at UNC Asheville): Playing at the top three singles spots, Nolan ended the year with eight wins in singles ... He played mainly at No. 2 singles where he had six wins ... In doubles, Nolan teamed with Edward Colclough to tie for the team lead with 11 wins ... The duo was an impressive 10-4 at No. 2 doubles ... They tied for the team lead in doubles wins with four in conference play.
 
PREP: Graduated from John Willmott school with two A-Level classes ... Played soccer for school and also Sutton Coldfield Town FC ... Started playing tennis at the age of 8 ... Won numerous junior county championships ... Represented the county of Warwickshire in both juniors and seniors.
