David Langley Season 2016-17

2016-17: Captured the individual medal at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate in October, placing first and helping the Monarchs to a runner-up team finish... Placed second at the Patriot Intercollegiate, which the Monarchs won as a team... Recorded a seventh-place finish at Fort Lauderdale... Took 12th at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate and 14th at ECU... Playing in every tournament, Langley posted a 73.8 season stroke average, tied for best on the team... C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

2015-16: Shot an ODU-record 63 in the first round of the ODU/OBX Invite where he went on to claim 15th place… Recorded first top-five finish, taking fifth at the ECU Intercollegiate... Also competed in the Firestone Invitational, The Farms, Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, Mission Inn Spring Spectacular and at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate... Placed second highest for the Monarchs at the C-USA Championships by taking 18th place... C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll

2014-15: 17th at ODU/Outerbanks....Tied for 18 at Golfweek....Shot 68 in the first round and 69 in the third round at Golfweek...74.0 stroke averge... Tied for 22nd at the Mission Inn Tournament.

2013-14: T9th at Greenbrier after shooting 70-74-75=219...In the fall T11th at Golfweek Challenge.

CAREER: David Langley ranks 16th among junior golfers in the United Kingdom. He won the B.B. & O county championships (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire ) three straight years. Langley was the 2010 under-16 Champion, the 2011 and 2012 under-18 champion, and ranked among the top 20 juniors in the United Kingdom.

PERSONAL: Son of Edward and Jane Langley...Has one sister, Kate...Major: Sports Management...Interested in teaching and coaching.
