NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s tennis will face off against Kentucky in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the NCAA announced Monday.
The Monarchs will travel to Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Friday for their match at 2 p.m. against the Wildcats. Wake Forest hosts the region as the one seed. The Demon Deacons will compete against Gardner-Webb at 5 p.m.
ODU is back in action after a week off following the team earning its third straight Sun Belt Conference championship last Sunday. ODU went 14-8 in the regular season and were undefeated in the SBC and is on a seven-match winning streak.
Old Dominion holds a 17-8 overall record.
