NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women’s tennis to face off against rival James Madison on Saturday, March 29 as part of the TowneBank Royal Rivalry.

The match begins at 10 a.m. at the Hillside Courts, and fans can follow along through StatBroadcast.

Old Dominion (11-4, 5-0 Sun Belt) is coming off of two 4-1 wins against Sun Belt Conference opponents South Alabama and Southern Miss last weekend. Sofia Johnson improved her singles record to 10-2 with a win over Jaguar Delien Kleinhans (6-2, 6-1) and a sweep over Golden Eagle Hannah Chambers (6-0, 6-0).

James Madison also downed Southern Miss and South Alabama last weekend, by 4-0 and 4-1 scores respectively. The Dukes are 4-2 in SBC play and hold a 6-10 overall record.

The Monarchs are ranked 41st in the ITA with Johnson coming in at 13 for singles. They are 31-16 against the Dukes all-time and are on a four-match win streak.
