LEWISBURG, Pa. – Old Dominion University men’s and women’s swimming was named a Scholar All-American Team, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America announced on Monday. The Old Dominion women’s team produced a 3.59 GPA, while the men’s team had a 3.45 GPA.

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.

To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 654 recorded a GPA of 3.30 or higher, qualifying them for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.

The women’s squad competes in the Sun Belt Championships from February 19-22 in Orlando, Florida, while the men’s team competes in the Atlantic Sun Championships from Feb. 19-22 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
