NEW ORLEANS – Old Dominion men’s tennis player Cosme Rolland De Ravel went a combined 3-0 for the Monarchs in wins over Davidson and Virginia Tech last week and has been named the Sun Belt Men’s Tennis Player of the week, the league office announced on Wednesday.
In Friday’s 4-3 win at Virginia Tech, Rolland De Ravel clinched the win at No. 2 singles with a 7-6, 5-7, 6-2 win over Ilyas Fahim.
In the win over Charlotte, he notched a win at No. 2 doubles with Jean-Karim Olivier De Sardan, 6-3, and he earned a win at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-4.
Rolland De Ravel and the Monarchs return to action on Friday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m.
