Seven Women's Tennis Players Receive C-USA Postseason Accolades

NORFOLK, Va. – Seven student-athletes from the Old Dominion women’s tennis team received Conference USA postseason accolades as voted on by league head coaches and announced by C-USA officials on Friday afternoon.

Brooke Pilkington was named the Newcomer of the Year. Pilkington and teammate Holly Hutchinson were named the Co-Outstanding Doubles Team of the Championship, as well as earned All-Conference USA Doubles Team honors. Hutchinson also garnered First Team Singles accolades, while Pilkington was named to the Second Team for singles.

Nataliia Vlasova joined Hutchinson on the All C-USA Singles First Team. Vlasova paired with teammate Natalya Malenko to obtain a spot on the All-Doubles Second Team.  

Joining Pilkington on the All-Singles Second team were Oleksandra Andrieieva and Yulia Starodubtseva.

Starodubtseva and Andrieieva teamed up on the All-Doubles Second Team.

Andrieieva was joined by comrade Alesya Yakubovich on the Conference USA All-Freshman Team.

Old Dominion currently boasts a 19-4 record and went 11-0 at home. At one point this season, ODU was the No. 19 nationally ranked team by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), which marked the highest ranking in program history.
